WHAT IS NORD-OUEST ’S REFUND POLICY?

Refundable

As long as you cancel your reservation at least ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled departure of your flight. If you cancel, you’re eligible to receive 100% of your ticket value as a refund to your original form of payment. A Nord- Ouest Air Charter flight credit from a previous reservation that is applied toward a Business Select or Anytime fare will be refunded as a Transferable Flight Credit. For travel booked with Rewards points, if canceled, points will be returned to the Rewards account holder who booked the ticket.

 

If you do not cancel your reservation at least 10 minutes before the flight’s original scheduled departure time, any points used for booking will be forfeited, along with any taxes and fees associated with your reward travel reservation.

 

PROMPT TICKET REFUNDS POLICY

Once the proper documentation is provided, we will process refunds for eligible domestic and international tickets within seven (7) business days of receiving the completed refund request. Due to billing cycles, a credit card statement may not reflect a refund immediately.

 

If you purchased the ticket, you may cancel your ticket on your Manage my Booking page through logging into My Trips. After cancelling, you may complete and submit the Online Refund Form if you would like a refund to your original form of payment.

 

If your flight is canceled, significantly delayed, or significantly impacted by a schedule change (generally a delay or change of three or more hours domestically and six or more hours internationally), and you decide not to travel, you are eligible for a method-of-payment refund even for non-refundable tickets. If you are eligible for a ticket refund due to a significant flight disruption, you are also entitled to a refund for any bag fee that you paid, and any unused extras you may have purchased, such as Early Bird Check-In or Upgraded Boarding. Refunds are processed within seven (7) business days.   We recommend that you contact Nord-Ouest Air Charter as soon as you know of your change of plans. Learn more about your options.

 

If your flight is not significantly disrupted:

If your flight is not significantly disrupted but you decide not to travel and cancel your reservation at least 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure:

  • Business Select and Anytime tickets are refundable. You can choose to either a) receive a method-of-payment refund or b) hold the value of the ticket as a Transferable Flight Credit.
  •  that you can use to buy a future flight.
  •  If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking, you can choose either to a) receive a method-of-payment refund or b) hold the value of the ticket as a flight credit or Transferable Flight Credit (depending on the fare) to buy a future flight.

 

Customer check-in requirements:

If you do not plan to travel, please cancel your reservation at least 10 minutes before the flight’s original scheduled departure time.

If you don't cancel your reservation at least 10 minutes before the flight's original scheduled departure time, your reservation will be subject to our no-show policy.

During flight delays that last three hours or more that we determine are within our control, like mechanical issues or needing to swap out planes, or if we cancel your flight because of something we determine we can control and make you wait three hours or more at the airport:

Meals: If you ask, we’ll give you a voucher for food at airport vendors who accept our vouchers. If there’s no place to use the voucher or no vouchers available, we may honor reasonable requests for reimbursement of meal costs if you ask by using the form linked below no later than one (1) year after the flight in question.

Lodging: If we can’t get you on a flight out to your destination or a co-terminal city the same day, and your reservation did not originally include an overnight layover, if you ask, we may get you a place to stay or may honor reasonable requests for reimbursement for lodging (unless you live nearby) submitted using the form linked below no later than one (1) year after the flight in question. 

Ground transportation: If the lodging we arrange doesn’t have a shuttle to/from the airport, if you ask, we may provide a ground transportation voucher or may honor reasonable requests for reimbursement for a taxi or uber or something similar submitted using the form linked below no later than one (1) year after the flight in question.

Request for Nord-Ouest Air Charter Voucher and/or Reimbursement

Nord-Ouest Air Charter Voucher requests:

Nord- Ouest Air Charter intends to operate all flights as planned. Unfortunately, sometimes things happen that we determine we can’t control (like bad weather) or we determine we can control (like fixing a plane) that may cause a delay or cancellation.

If Nord- Ouest Air Charter cancels or significantly delays a flight because of something we determine we can control (like a mechanical issue or needing to swap out planes), you may be eligible for a Nord- Ouest Air Charter Voucher if:

Nord- Ouest Air Charter canceled or delayed your flight less than eight days before it was supposed to leave and you arrived to your final destination three or more hours later than planned; and

The cause of the delay or cancellation was something Nord- Ouest Air Charter determined we could control; and

You ask for the Nord- Ouest Air Charter Voucher using this form no later than one year from the date of the delayed/canceled flight(s). 

If Nord- Ouest Air Charter already issued a voucher for this delay or cancellation we won’t give another one for the same issue.

For delays or cancellations that don’t fit these rules, Nord- Ouest Air Charter may choose to give a Nord- Ouest Air Charter Voucher. If Nord- Ouest Air Charter agrees to give you a voucher, we will email a Nord- Ouest Air Charter Voucher for each ticketed Passenger to the email associated with the purchaser of the reservation.
